Biography
Huseyin Baran is a contemporary artist and Associate Professor of Graphic Arts at a Faculty of Fine Arts.
Working across traditional painting and drawing techniques, he uses oil paint, acrylic, drawing media, and collage on canvas.
In Alter Cubes, he envisions the city as a vast installation. In The City Within, he paints scenes of everyday life amid the chaos of the urban environment.
Alongside his traditional art practice, his academic research includes three-dimensional character and vehicle design, futuristic environments in virtual and augmented reality, 3D modeling, and game design. He also conducts workshops and gives seminars and conference presentations in these fields.
